- Floor Length:
- A floor length hemline will end slightly above floor.
- Ankle Length:
- An ankle length gown is gown that has been hemmed at the ankle line.
- Ballerina Length:
- A ballerina length gown has a full length skirt that flares out slightly and ends a little above the ankle line.
- Intermission Length:
- this is an intermediate length hem line that falls between the knee and ankle.
- Hi-Lo Length:
- This is a variable length hemline it falls between the ankle and knee in the front and can reach any length or even have train in the back.
- Knee Length:
- This hemline ends at or just below the knee
- Mini Skirt Length:
- A gown with a mini skirt length ends above the knee.
