- Alencon Lace:
- The most popular lace with a background of flowers and swag designs.
- Chantilly Lace:
- a pattern of flowers and ribbons across white netting.
- Duchesse Lace:
- raised floral designs on an irregular spaced lace net.
- Guipure Lace:
- Large flower or other motif’s connected by a few thin threads.
- Ribbon Lace:
- A random ribbon pattern sewn over a regular spaced net background.
- Schiffli Lace:
- delicate embroidery patterns over a lightweight lace netting.
- Spanish Lace:
- flat roses sewn over of lace netting.
- Venice Lace:
- heavy designs that resemble embroidery with leaves floral or other patterns.
